“Just Do Something”

“Just do Something” was an initiative which began in November of 2008 when the 1st grade class and their teacher, Mrs. Sullivan, decided to regularly bake bread for a soup kitchen in Morristown. The decision was the result of a discussion about St. Elizabeth of Hungary, our patroness, and her dedication to feeding the poor in her community.  At the end of that school year Mrs. Sullivan and her class challenged the rest of the student body and the faculty to do something for others during the summer.  Students returned in September of 2009 school year with thousands of acts of kindness and good deeds to tell Mrs. Sullivan about.

Throughout subsequent year’s it has been our objective to include an aspect of Just do Something into all our regularly scheduled activities.  Service to others soon becomes a habit using this approach.
