This event is a must attend for all parents.  You will meet the faculty and staff of the School of Saint Elizabeth at our annual Back to School Night.  The evening will kick off in the auditorium where parents can enjoy light refreshments and great company.  Our new principal, William Venezia, will provide us with his introductory remarks and vision for the School’s future.  After introductions of the faculty and staff by Mr. Venezia, the parents will then be invited to visit their respective children’s classrooms and their teachers for the upcoming school year.  (Please note: this event is for Parents only)

 Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast on Mission Sunday, all proceeds will be donated to designated mission.  Not only will breakfast be offered, but there will be a flu shot clinic.  We will also have a professional photographer available for family portraits.

This annual dinner dance is the School’s major fundraiser.  This year we are asking for everyone to participate and enjoy a night of fine food, music and dancing.  We will be honoring Mr. Al Latino, who recently retired after 46 dedicated years of teaching at the School.  In addition we offer spectacular gift baskets, a live and silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.  This truly has proven to be one of the marvelous events of the year.  Bring friends, family and neighbors as we continue to celebrate the legacy of the School, almost 100 years strong.

All proceeds from the annual Book Fair are earmarked for the purchase of new books and updating of the library.  During the week each class will visit the Book Fair to peruse the latest selections.  Later that week the children will be given an opportunity to return and purchase some of these selections.  The Book Fair is purposefully scheduled to coincide with the prescheduled Parent/Teacher conferences, allowing parents and children a chance to browse the selections.  This is a fantastic opportunity to start your holiday shopping and benefit the School at the same time.

Smart Dollars    All Year

Simply purchase ShopRite, Kings or Burger King gift cards from the school for face value of the gift card.  In turn, these merchants will provide 5% of the purchase amount to the School.  The Smart Dollars is an ongoing funding event which has provided the school with funds to purchase technology and software programs, among other things.  Since you all ready shop these merchants weekly, your purchase of these cards will give back to the School with each purchase.  Look for flyers in the Wednesday envelope for methods of purchasing.  We will also have a representative in the office monthly to meet your requests for more Smart Dollars.
