"Just do Something"
“Just do Something” was an initiative begun by the current 3rd grade when they were in 1st grade with Mrs. Sullivan, our current 2nd grade teacher. Mrs. Sullivan and her class regularly baked bread for a soup kitchen in Morristown throughout year. At the end of that school year Mrs. Sullivan and her class challenged the rest of the student body and the faculty to do something for others during the summer. Students returned in September of the 2009-2010 school year with thousands of acts of kindness and good deeds to tell Mrs. Sullivan about. We began a tally on the home page of our website based on those numbers. The number grew and grew and included deeds big and small.
This year’s objective was to include an aspect of Just do Something into all our regularly scheduled activities. Service to others soon becomes a habit using this approach.
Want to do something? Report your "something" to our 2nd grade through their teacher, Mrs. Sullivan and we will add your deeds to our tally. Mrs Sullivan and our 2nd graders can be reached at
