Morning Drop Off

Arrival for K-8 students begins at 7:55 am with the first bell ringing at 8:10 am. All children report to the cafeteria and line up according to their grades and share morning prayer together. “Drive-up drop-off” is through the Claremont Road driveway of the church parking lot.

Eighth Grade Safety Patrol volunteers help children from their cars and escort them into school.  Students who arrive after the 8:20 am late bell must use the main entrance of the school and obtain a late slip from the Front Office. Pre-K3 reports at 8:45 am through the main door and meets in the classroom. Pre-K4 reports at 8:30 am in the cafeteria.

Emergency School Closing

School closings, delayed openings, and early dismissal will be broadcast through School Alert to the telephone indicated to the school office by parents for this purpose.

Dismissal/Car Line Procedure

Pre-K extended care through K-8 students are dismissed at 3:00 pm through the cafeteria and wait on the patio for car-line pick up. Car line forms in the church parking lot using the Claremont Road driveway. The line progresses from left to right, with a teacher or principal directing traffic forward. Please make sure that your family name placard is visible on the dashboard so your name can be announced as you approach the patio. Students are escorted to the cars in the pick-up area.

Lunch/Cafeteria Duty

Students may bring lunch or purchase lunch, drinks, or snacks daily. Menus are sent home monthly. The lunch period runs from 11:40 am to 12:20 pm for grades 4-8; from 12:10 pm to 12:50 pm for grades K-3. Parent volunteers assist with luncheon/playground duty. Each school family is assigned to six days of cafeteria duty throughout the school year. This volunteer time may be used to fulfill HSA hours.

Siblings are welcome at lunch, though parents must give their full attention to supervising the students at lunch and afterward during playground recess. Families are expected to arrange for replacements if they cannot fulfill their assigned lunch times. In case of emergency, please contact the lunchroom coordinator.
